We are just starting our son out in the showing portion of the Livestock industry. He is a real hands-on type of boy, wants to do it all himself, at the time was 3 years old. Loved the ease of this product. Wet, spray on real shine, brush in, & blow dry. Super simple and our son loved to help out. As far as the product performance we were extremely pleased. At home growing the wool, we had new growth starting around the ankle of the lamb and it thickened up the wool that typically grows on the lamb's legs. What really impressed me is we have all seen the wavy wool on lambs. Its a pain and hard to clip. On the couple that had it for us, we did a body spray on them once a week and it made clipping them a breeze. Still had a wave but it kept it under control and made them appear smoother. Also on our show yearling ewes, we always seem to have ones with rub marks and it made it look like they where wool picked. We sprayed this on all their spots and within a month we had growth back on it where it blended back into their wool. At shows, it was the best at getting that final “POP” out of the wool. Used it in their legs getting them ready and as a final body mist a few mins before going in the ring to give them a glossy look. Will definitely be getting more this next upcoming show season!
I can not believe how easy this product is to use!! We usually have to wash, rinse, condition, rinse, card, blow, spray on conditioning spray and card and blow some more.... BUT now all we have to do is simply spray and brush and blow out! No washing at all and the shag comes cleaner than it would with us washing it. Not only will this product condition the hide and the shag but save us so much more time!
We love Real Shine! It has been a great asset to our show lamb and goat program! Being an ag teacher, we are always looking for a product that not only works great and produces great results but is good and wholesome for the animals! We have been super happy with the product! It moisturizes the leg wool, prevents breakage and stimulates follicle growth. With regular use, it not only produces an amazing outcome but really teaches the kids that the more effort you put into your animals the better the results! We also have not had any skin issues since we have been using real shine! It is a great product that does not create a greasy feel, it really separates each fiber with regular working of the wool and makes the wool look fuller and softer. The product is great and the Earn Purple philosophy is one you can stand behind! I’m so glad we have been able to implement it into our program!! Thank you Real Shine!
